Dr Matias Quintana is an incoming faculty at the College of Integrative Studies (CIS) at the Singapore Management University (SMU). He is the founder and the principal investigator of the SMU Computational Urban Systems Lab.

Born and raised in the country with most world’s leading culinary destination awards, Perú, Matias has vast international experience having worked in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Micronesia. His research converges urban data science, human-building interaction, and building energy analytics to support bidirectional digital twins and data-driven urban planning. He has delivered talks at universities and organisations worldwide, including Peking, Tsinghua, and ETH Zürich.
